Want Good Health? Follow the ABC Method!Fitness is the combination of sensible eating with routine physical activity. One needs to avoid weight gain if that person is already in good physical shape or else in healthy weight; or needs to lose in case he is overweight. All of us wants to live our life with full of joy, with healthy and fresh mind, look young and accomplish our all needs, till the last breath. This need will be fulfilled by taking a little care and following few healthy routine that we need to follow all our life.

Aim, build and choose are the three criteria of any individual health. The universal information and guidelines below can assist you to add the ABC’s of healthy eating to you and your family’s diet.

These are couple of tips under “Aims of fitness”.

  • If the person is inactive, then he needs to be active by being mobile in office instead of sitting the whole day. If walking in office is not possible, try other activities like swimming, gardening, sports, walking, cycling- and do them continuously.
  • An individual should attempt 30 minutes daily of some physical activity for atleast five or more days, each week. Encourage your children to play with you and be active for one hour.

Here are couple of tips under “Build a healthy base”.

  • One needs to choose healthy grains for bread, pasta, cereal, tortillas, rice, cornbread and other food. One can make his individual choices for whole grain like brown rice, wheat bread or pasta, grain cereal.
  • Enjoy three types of vegetable or atleast two kinds of fruit daily. One can choose any form of food like from frozen, fresh, canned, dried, or 100% juices which also provides vitamins and minerals.

Here are some advices under “Choose sensibly”.

  • One needs to choose diet which is moderate in total fat, cholesterol and low in saturated fat. Build your meals around vegetables, grains and fruits. Choose low-fat or fat-free dairy foods, fish, beans and peas, and meat and lean poultry.
  • Prepare and choose foods with less salt. Eat more fresh food, soups and avoid canned vegetables, cured meats and salty snacks.
